The Haunt at Canterbury

The Haunt at Canterbury is an annual themed yard haunt display located on Canterbury Road in Denville, NJ.

Our yard haunt started with a few tombstones, a fog machine and a love for Halloween. Our display goes up only on Halloween and is taken down at the end of the night. Our neighbors have been very generous with their compliments for our hard work. It took many years to accumulate our vast amount of props we own as well as the many hours of researching and making homemade props. We like to offer a big thank you to all the halloween email groups and websites that share our love for this holiday and who offer a great diversity of information and inspiration. This site is devoted to what we do and to all the people who help us create this display each year.

Our attraction is a family friendly yard display that is free for all to visit. Its purpose is to capture the magic of being a kid at Halloween. The display features store bought and homemade props, fog machines, special lighting effects, and animatronics as well as spooky music. Each year we try to do the Halloween yard haunt based on a specific theme with a story behind it to make it interesting.
